Barbara began sewing at age 12 and has been designing and dress making professionally for 23 years. Through association with five bridal shops throughout this time, she has altered thousands of wedding dresses and other formal wear. She has a special expertise in people who are hard to fit: the extremely petit and plus-sizes. Barbara, who has a bachelor's degree in fine arts, will gladly sketch a design from your ideas or from a picture or pictures of other designs. Barbara has access to most of the fabrics and materials currently fashionable.Because of her low overhead you are able to receive a custom garment, excellently constructed, at a reasonable cost. |
